Our services
Conducting disciplinary hearings
At Alpha Plus, we can conduct disciplinary hearings at your designated workplace or by means of electronic devices at our discretion. We have experience with various disciplinary issues and can help ensure a fair and transparent process.
Termination and referral to the CCMA
If an employee is dismissed or retrenched and the matter is referred to the CCMA, we object to the “Con/Arb” process and resume only with the conciliation for strategic reasons while we prepare for the forthcoming arbitration. The arbitration is represented by us because both parties become a member of the GDPEO, an employer organization.
Union negotiations
Alpha Plus can help you negotiate with unions to ensure that your business’s interests are represented and that your employees are treated fairly.
Handling strikes
Whether your employees are going on a legal or illegal strike, protected or unprotected, we can provide the support you need to navigate the situation’s complexities.
Referral of CCMA ruling for review
If there is merit in doing so, we can refer the CCMA ruling for review. The merit assessment is done solely at the discretion of Alpha Plus.
Administrative and Logistical Support
We are available for advice 24 hours a day, and our system provides for finalising any instruction within 72 hours after we receive your request.
We keep track of your expenses at the end of each calendar month, with a monthly report of your usage vs. fees received by you.
PRICING
Our current fee structure:
R41.35 excl. VAT per Employee
- We request a monthly list of all your appointed employees as this will calculate the amount payable.
- The annual GDPEO certificate fee is payable by you, the client.
GDPEO annual costs:
| 1-9 workers: | R810.00 |
| 10-199 workers | R1 285.00 |
| 200-2000 workers | R2 140.00 |
| 2001+ workers | R3 710.00 |
- These services provide for 15 disciplinary investigations and 15 CCMA appearances per 100 workers per year.
- Please note that any existing matters arising before joining Alpha Plus will be handled ad hoc.
